Corsica Day 6

On Friday, we headed back into Bonifacio to actually see the city from the streets. We took a “train” up from the marina (where we parked) to the “old town”. The able bodied among us walked out around the peninsula on which Bonifacio is built. I hobbled along behind (I should have just stayed put). Eventually we all met up and had lunch at a cute snack shop in old town. Tim walked down from the town, while the rest of us took the “train” back. The kids played for a bit at a playground before we headed back to Porto Vecchio.

We took an easy afternoon packing up and Tim cooked the rest of the meat from the butcher (beef) as part of a delicious dinner.
