Audrey's Photos

We were up visiting at Tim's mom's house over the weekend. She snapped some photos of little Maya...

Swim Lessons

Maya started her swim lessons this weekend. No action footage of that since we were both in the pool with her the entire time. She had a great time. There's not much swim instruction yet (obviously) just lots of splashing, singing, and games. And some kicking...

(She wouldn't look at me in the photos because there were so many other more interesting things to explore...)

Walkin'

Maya's been walking for a little over a week now. Last Saturday, she just decided it was time, and she really hasn't stopped since. Here's some action footage:

Bluebonnets

I'm told that every Texas child must have a yearly photo with the bluebonnets. There's no bumper crop this year, but there was a nice stand across the street from my parents. Maya tolerated "nature" for a little bit... (She loves being outside, but she's still warming up to the feel of grass...):

A new car...

Oops. Talking with my sister in law yesterday, I realized I had left a cliff-hanger...

Not long after the very lovely car dealership found me a loaner car... the car that I was awaiting arrived. Welcome our newest member:

Truth be told, we watched an Inconvenient Truth several weeks ago, which is what set the whole thing off. Scariest movie I've ever seen... this isn't the whole solution, but I've doubled my fuel economy (and switched to a lower grade of gasoline...not bad for the pocket book either).

Happy Easter Again!

Grandpa Tim and Grandma Shelly sent Maya a duck disguised as a bunny for Easter. Maya loves to dance and clap along:
