All dressed up...

Since Maya's grown into her bigger clothes, she can now be dressed up to be presentable out of the house. Today, we went to a potluck lunch at Tim's clinic. Here's Maya in her cute dress:


After lunch, Theresa and I hit one of the local second-hand children's clothing stores. Keep an eye out for even more pictures of cutely attired Maya...

Chillin'

Grandma demands a weekly picture... so here's two (does this count for two weeks?). Maya's really been eating like crazy the past week or so... she's grown a ton! She's moved up from the newborn clothes to the 3-6 months clothes, and, suprisingly for me, they don't look too big on her!

A Visit from Chicago

This past weekend, my brother, sister-in-law, their four kids, and my parents all came down from Chicago for a visit. For Rob and Sarah and the kids, this was a significant undertaking, since they drove all the way, with a 5 week-old! My parents were ecstatic to have all of their grandkids altogether, and they made us document the occasion (that's Maya on the left; her cousin Megan on the right):


We did lots of little things, but one of the big excursions was into Inner Space Cavern (north of Austin). Here's Maya ready to go in:

The cave is really very pretty, and since I wasn't carrying the baby, I got to take some photos:
