We later discovered that the signage for the park indicated that even the baby park was only for kids aged 3-9, but I would have lied and told them our toddlers were 3 just to get them in the park. The kids had such a fabulous time at this place that it was more than worth the price of admission. All four kids were outfitted with legit harnesses and helmets, then they were allowed to navigate a very varied ropes course as many times as they wanted. They swung on balls of ropes, strangely suspended skateboards, zip lines, etc. They played for at least two solid hours. Cora kept wandering up and asking if she could sit by me and put her head down, then she would pop back awake and say “I want to do the nest again” or “I want to do the zip line again”.
After the park, we drove again back through the Niolo, though unlike the previous day, it wasn’t raining, so the drive involved more stops. And the toddlers slept in the car this time. At least for a little while. We stopped at the grocery store for dinner fixings, “country ribs” (pork) with potatoes and peas. I hear Tim prepared yet another delicious meal. I don’t know because Amy generously kept all four of the kids (and put them to bed!) so that Tim and I could enjoy a dinner out. We went to Le Roches Rouges in Piana, and enjoyed a very lovely (quite gourmet) dinner.
