We went to the beach again. Beaches and casts (even soft, temporary ones) do not mix well. Or they do mix well, which is the problem. However, the kids and the other two adults appeared to have much fun frolicking in the (very mild) surf. Then the kids played in the sand for a bit while Tim took a walk along the coast to a second nearby beach. (Both of these beaches are basically visible from the porch at our apartment, so we wandered not far at all from our home base.)
After beach fun, we headed back to our apartment for showers, lunch, naps, and nail painting. In the evening, we headed out to a restaurant we had searched reviews for online. After finding no trace of this restaurant in either location where the interwebs indicated it should be, we drove to a random small town in the coastal hills for a delicious al fresco dinner of grilled meats.
