We drove from our apartment to Bastia and back to the ferry. This ferry trip was better (air conditioning!) and seemed shorter (it wasn’t much shorter, it was just more tolerable). After arriving in Livorno, we drove to an adorable little town outside of Florence (Turbone), where the kids played in a cool park (complete with a zip line for the big kids and a tire swing that the little kids loved) before having a very delicious dinner at the local trattoria. We then drove back to Trento. Unfortunately, I couldn’t help Tim with the driving. He was tired. We had to stop for about an hour outside of Modena so he could take a little nap before finishing the last hour and a half of the drive. We finally arrived back at our apartment in Trento at 1:45am. Luckily, the kids slept until the church across the street summoned everyone to mass at 8:45am.

Corsica Day 14
Not much exciting happened on our last day. We got up early, packed up and headed out. When we stripped the sheets off our bed, we did get a little surprise.
