So lunch at Maya's school is impressive. It's several courses... today they had green beans, tomatoes, and salad as a first course. Followed by canederli in brodo, followed by... she doesn't remember the third course. So of course we always ask her what she had for lunch. And she asks us back.
Today, she wasn't satisfied just knowing what I had for lunch, but she had to also know what GP had for lunch and what Amy had for lunch. Then she asked if we had coffee after lunch:
Me: Yes. I had a macchiato.
Maya: What about Amy?
Me: She just had a regular coffee.
Maya: A caffe?
Me: Yes.
Maya: But yours had milk.
My. Quite a connoisseur.
