Wednesday, my parents left Italy for their week in Austria. Tim volunteered to drive them to Innsbruck (they had been planning to take the train) for the chance to get to see the town (it is, after all, only about an hour and a half away by car). They had a lovely day for it. When they arrived and got my parents settled in their hotel, they grabbed some lunch then wandered the streets of the city. I hear reported that it is a lovely one. They visited some good museums about the Maximilian I and the Habsburg dynasty. They also visited a church created simply for the purpose of housing Maximilian’s very elaborate sarcophagus; the sarcophagus was surrounded by more than twenty bronze statues of famous leaders.

Tim's pictures are fantantische. Pretty soon he's going to have to decide what he wants to be in his second life: a chef or a photographer.
