Apple Festival
We heard about an apple festival from one of the graduate students. It was about 40 minutes away by car, so we headed out there with Amy, GP, and Milena this weekend. It was actually a much bigger event than we had anticipated. There were lots of gastronomical goodies (salami, cheese, wine, and everything apple), apple picking, farm animals, a park, and great food to eat. The weather has turned a little cooler, but the day was beautiful, and we had a great time. Tim even got some shots of the mountains in the distance; it snowed there this week.

This looks like a lot of fun. Maybe we should have stayed a few more days. Reminds me of when we used to take you kids apple picking in Kansas City.
