Oahu Day 5

On Wednesday, I had to go to my conference again, so Tim and Maya made reservations to take a submarine ride to explore the Pacific Ocean from underneath.  Luckily, the tour left right from the hotel's dock; it included a (thankfully short) surface boat ride out to the submarine, followed by a dive tour to a depth of 100+ feet.  I hear that the pictures don't do it justice, but that the tour was really cool.  After nap, Maya and Tim met Alan to go for some shaved ice (Maya told me later that she had "Obama Rainbow" flavor... don't know what that is exactly, but the name was confirmed by Tim).  We then met Jamie and Alex for a DELICIOUS Italian dinner.
