Kauai Day 7/Oahu Day 1

Saturday was our last day in Kauai and the day we caught the 20 minute flight over to Oahu.  In the morning, we had breakfast at the condo and got checked out.  Then we stopped by a cute local grocery and had some coffee.  Next up was the Plantation, where Maya and I rode a vintage steam engine to see the plantation grounds (including all kinds of hardwood and fruit trees, banana plants... banana in Hawaiian is "Maia", pineapples, and some animals to pet and feed).  After the train tour, we had lunch at the plantation restaurant and then headed to do some souvenir shopping.  Then we caught our plane to Honolulu.  What a difference!  We got checked into our MASSIVE hotel (it's called the Hilton Hawaiian Village, but even the word "village" doesn't give it due credit).  We had some dinner at a noodle shop, where we met Jamie to catch up for a little bit.
