Yesterday, we covered "the other side" of the river. We walked across the bridge, then took a tram up to see the Prague castle complex, most notably Saint Vitus Cathedral. We (and thousands of our closest friends) spent the morning in the castle complex. We had lunch at one of the cafes in the castle (theoretically ill-advised, I know, but it was actually quite good). Then we walked down along the river to look at some of the art pieces that we had seen the day before. We caught the funicular up to the Petrin Tower (there is some relationship to the Eiffel tower... perhaps this was designed by Eiffel as well?... either way, Cora just calls it the Eiffel tower thing), climbed the tower, and checked out the nearby mirror maze (total tourist trap, but hilarious fun). Then we wandered around to the "Miniature Museum". This is just a two room museum (everything is really tiny after all!) tucked in near the Strahov Monestary, but we really enjoyed it. Everything is "on the leg of a mosquito" or "inside the eye of a needle" and you look at each exhibit through a microscope or magnifying glass. We completed our walk back to the hotel via Wallenstein Gardens (we had also wandered through them earlier) and a look at the grotto with hidden faces embedded. Also, Cora REALLY loved the fish in Wallenstein Garden. Dinner was at a notably amazing Italian restaurant.

Here's our buddy Saint John of Nepomuk again. This is actually his tomb. Also, I think I heard the audio guide right when it said that the story about whispering in the dog's ear is false. I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that though.
