Copenhagen Day 1

On Wednesday, we woke up in Rostock and took the ferry/bus/train trip in reverse. The track repairs were finished, so it was just one bus and a longer train. On the bus from the ferry station to the train station, Cora lost her first tooth!

Once in Copenhagen, we checked into our tiny (yet expensive) hotel. It was actually a hostel, and we it was also a very nice place to stay. The location was good, the living space was small but very efficient, and the amenities in the public spaces were great. 

After we'd dropped our bags, we headed out to spend the rest of the day at the Tivoli Gardens amusement park. The girls had a great time. We had a pretty average dinner in the park before riding some more rides. The girls and I crashed at the hotel, while Tim went back out "after dark" to take some pictures in the park with the lights on. For a sense of how "dark" nighttime really is, the latest any of these pictures were taken is 10:30pm.
