Prague - Cesky Krumlov - Salzburg

Yesterday, we drove from Prague to Salzburg by way of a small town called Cesky Krumlov. Cesky Krumlov is a pretty little town that also sits right along the Vltava river (like Prague). We had one more traditional Czech lunch (it was delicious)! Then we went inside the marionette museum. It was creepy, but pretty cool. Then we wandered through the castle grounds (we didn't have time to go inside) and checked out the views from up on top of the castle. We wandered back through the city (and got some ice cream and coffee) before piling back into the car for the last piece of the drive.

We kept the kids going all day with the promise of friends at the other end. Once we met up with the Piccos in Salzburg, we took a short walk around town and saw some gnome statues in the Mirabelle Gardens before finding a biergarten for dinner.

That's what it's called. Trdelnik. Czech for "cinnamon thing".

In Salzburg now...
