Twenty-one pretty photos and six or seven that might give you nightmares.

On Sunday, we continued our explorations with our rental car and drove to Mezzocorona. (In fact, this trip would have been easy without a car, but it was even easier with a car, and we didn't get to it before this weekend.) From Mezzocorona, we took a funivia up to Monte di Mezzocorona and set out on a hike through the woods. The goal was to get to a malga (farm that serves lunch) about 4km into the forest, have lunch, and then head back. Alas, we got away later than we intended and we wanted to be back in time to see the Palio dell'Oca, so we only made it about 2/3 of the way before we turned around, had lunch at the hotel near the funivia station at the top and made it back down to Mezzocorona. It was, however, a very nice, relatively easy, and enjoyable walk.

Tim found a very large pile of ants associated with a recently decapitated tree. More later.

The dude in the flower pot looks suspicious.

You tell the girls we're going hiking. And they put on a lacy dress or ankle length skirt.

Rosie had a great time on the hike. More later.

After lunch, Tim asked Cora if he could take Rosie on an adventure. After explaining what the adventure was so she clearly understood what Rosie was about to go through, Cora eagerly agreed.

[Warning. The following photos may give you nightmares.]

It's about to get worse. Much much worse.

The girls thought this was HILARIOUS.

Sweet dreams.
