Rifugio Maranza

Audrey arrived for a visit on Monday.  We showed her a little around Trento on Monday afternoon, had some pasta and pizza, and called it a day.  Wednesday, Maya and Tim showed her the market, the girls went back up the cable car to Sardagna so grandma could see out over Trento, then we all piled in the car for the trip up Marzola to Rifugio Maranza.  It's was maybe as high up elevation-wise as we've been since we've been here (and it was nice and cool once again).  We sat outside at the Rifugio to have dinner while the sun set behind the Dolomites.  The food was DELICIOUS and the atmosphere exceedingly pleasant.  The only downside was the drive up (and back out) on a curvy two-way one-lane road popular with cyclists.  Someone couldn't drink much wine at dinner in order to ensure we all got back out safely...
