This morning, we went to check out a potential hike, the Sentiero dei Castagna (Path of the Chestnuts). The hike leaves from the other side of Sardagna, which is the town the cable car basically goes to. So we walked around Sardagna a little, found the path for the hike, and decided that waiting a month or two to do this hike is a good idea (it's really hot here right now). So we walked back down the mountain from Sardagna to Trento. On a very lovely, well marked path. That then ended at a narrow, busy two lane road with no sidewalks. So for a kilometer or so, we did a little bit of car dodging, before we were back on the city sidewalks. Maya walked a good chunk today, too, which I'm sure Tim appreciated. It was a total of about 5 miles, though that includes the cable car. It looks like it was about 4.25 miles of actual walking, and I think Maya walked about 2 miles of that.
The EveryTrail version is here.

There's an error on the everytrail link.
I think that was actually blogger's fault. But it's fixed now. Thanks.
