Zurich Day 0

Thoughts on travel: 1. Two trips in a row, I've been thankful for the vast emptiness of passport control in the Zurich airport. What do they know that the rest of the world does not? 2. Only as I walked straight through baggage claim did I truly appreciate the fact that I have only a change of clothes, the camera, and my computer. That is, only then did I truly appreciate the fact that Tim is bringing the real luggage tommorow. 3. Overall, it would have been nicer to have traveled together. 4. Within 30 minutes of deplaning, I was walking out of the train station in central Zurich. (seriously? Yes.) 5. Zurich is lovely... Especially with respect to being so well signed. It almost seemed somehow cheating that it was super easy to get to the conference venue without even a map. 6. I miss my MJ.
