Parco Sigurtá

Today we spent a lovely day at Parco Giardino Sigurtá, a 60 hectare (about 150 acres) park/garden just southwest of Verona. The property's history dates back to the early 1400's when it was a walled hunting knoll and an area to grow forage for livestock. 600 years later it is an enormous park which happened to have a festival today. We, and several thousand of our closest friends, enjoyed magicians and acrobats and clowns and acrobat clowns and a labyrinth of hedges made up of 1500 yews and a dude on stilts. Good times. Here are some pictures.
