Iceland Day 3 (Part 1)

Today, we had conference only in the morning. While I was doing that, Tim took a whale watching tour from the harbor in Reykjavik.  He saw harbor propoises, silver-tipped dolphins and several minke whale. It was not exactly a Prudential commercial, but one minke whale did surface about 10 meters in front of the boat (which is really close, especially for minke whale).  After a short wait in line at the downtown hotdog stand (which was fantastic), he headed to the university to meet up with me in time to start a tour organized by my conference.
