The Texas Memorial Museum

Last week, we went into the city on Saturday to visit the Texas Memorial Museum. It's completely free, and they have a ton of really neat bones and fossils and other exhibits. Outside, there's a great statue of a sabre toothed tiger.

And a garden with replicas of dinosaur vertebrae. And some real fossil footprints.

Then inside, there was a huge "Texas Pterosaur" suspended from the ceiling as you walk in.

And much else all over the museum. Back outside, Maya ran down the hill to the mustang statue and posed for a quick picture before her good spirits ran out and we headed home.
