Chocolate Bunny

My parents thought it a good idea to get Maya a chocolate bunny for Easter. I thought it a good idea for her to have it for snack today (since I'm going to a show tonight, and Tim's on his own for bedtime). (Just kidding, that only just occurred to me.)

Anyway, thanks mom and dad:

(And, no, she does not have the entire top 2/3 of the bunny in her mouth. She didn't eat much more than the bottom 1/3, so this first picture is about 30 seconds into snack time. It's amazing how fast she can get messy!)

Easter Sunday

A little behind on the posting... though not that bad, considering...

On Easter Sunday, dad made a feast, and we headed up to Georgetown to partake. In addition to the great food, there was wildlife (nothing new, if you've seen my dad's blog), bubble blowing, and gift opening. A great time was had by all.

Skype Kisses

Maya was skyping with grandpa today. Then she leaned over and made smacking sounds as she kissed grandpa's picture on the screen:

Easter... Saturday

Today we got up and went to a Boy Scout pancake breakfast/easter egg hunt combo held by our neighborhood association. Aside from the appearance of the Easter Bunny, everyone had a great time.

This afternoon, Tim's mom came down and is making dinner (I think Tim's finally used his injury to his advantage...). We also colored some REAL Easter eggs (each of which I think is now cracked...)

Face Update

Here's a picture of Tim today. His doctors' visits on Friday went well. His eye is fine, and the ENT is going to attempt a "closed" repair to his nose on Tuesday. I guess this means he'll try to readjust Tim's nose without making any incisions. The good news is that all of the trips are still on.

Bluebonnets

Last weekend, we went out to Georgetown for breakfast at my parents' house and to take the requisite bluebonnet photos. Here's the trip out, the pictures with the flowers, and the trip back:

This is what pickup basketball looks like

Tim caught an elbow on a rebound while playing basketball at lunch today. An entire afternoon at the ER later... his nose and orbit are both broken. He'll see an ENT and an Ophthalmologist on Friday.
